IR 28832 DOUBLE SUCCESS MULDERSDRIFT NORTH GAUTENG SOUTH AFRICA: 06 JULY 2016. Signs were picked up on a pending ‘Farm Attack’. SAPS Rural Safety was contacted who quickly analysed and verified the signs. Plans were made, and all were ready to pounce. Just before the incident was due to take place, suddenly things changed. The SAPS Tasks team, whilst placed at a strategic point got a ‘look out’ for three hi-jackers heading their way. The Task Team’s attention was diverted and the hijackers were apprehended, together with firearms and stolen vehicle.3 suspects were shot. (success 1) In the meantime, SAPS Rural Safety Members waited patiently for the farm attack to be launched. Its seems that with all the activity close by it had the farm attackers think twice. The domestic worker was involved, who resigned immediately. Farm Attack averted. (Success 2) The Owners of the property have not stopped singing the SAPS praises, and said SAPS were absolutely professional. Well Done to SAPS and all involved....
Serial Farm Attackers

Serial Farm Attackers

SUMMARY OF VIOLENT FARM ATTACKS PRETORIA EAST GAUTENG SOUTH AFRICA. It is encouraging to note that a long overdue status has been given to farm attacks, making such crimes against the farming community a ‘Priority Crime’. Unfortunately a culture of violence and torture has been allowed to manifest itself amongst criminals over the past 20 years, which seems to continue with attacks against the Farming community despite the new status. An even more serious trend is showing itself for some time now, that of a farm attack gang carrying out repeated attacks. A GANG OF SERIAL FARM ATTACKERS AND KILLERS. This is hard to conceive, but individual Serial Attackers are ganging together and terrorising the farming community. The following incidents have happened in close proximity to each other, we believe by the same gang. Farm Tweedracht: 3rd August 2014 – Ponty a white male of plot 42 approx 79 years old, was badly beaten, burnt with an clothing iron, poured petrol down his throat, threw a blanket over him and threatened to set him alight. 31st May 2016 – Mr Foley, a white male of plot 27 tied up, beaten, and robbed. 21st June 2016 – Mrs Du Toit 60 year old white female of plot 44, beaten up, threatened to cut her fingers off, burn her alive, drown her in the farm dam. 29th June 2016 – Mr Hettema of plot 30 approx 80 years old, shot in the face and died on the scene. All the attacks in all incidents were carried out by black males. I hope the statistics above can assist our Police to hunt...

Classic Battle Sign

Classic Battle Sign

An ongoing trend is the poisoning of dogs and in some cases wildlife by criminals and poachers (who are also criminals of the lowest form). Temik (aldicarb) is widely used as a pesticide on crops such as cotton, potatoes and peanuts. However, Temik is also used to kill your canine friend, which takes effect very quickly, often referred to as ‘Two-Step’ as your pet will literally take two steps and die should they consume a very small dose thereof. The substance has a dark grey to black, granule-like (size of sugar but black) appearance. Criminals both sell and purchase Temik at places like taxi ranks. Poachers use it to poison Rhino and Elephant which has a domino effect as it then kills vultures and other scavenges. They will lace lettuce or cabbage leaves with the poison, or put it into small drinking holes. Criminals in urban and rural areas use it to eliminate dogs that may alert the owner of their presence, or pose a threat to them. Often dogs along the criminal’s entry and exit/escape routes will be poisoned. Temik in this case will be mixed with ‘pap’ or canned dog food, or they lace meat with it. Feed your dogs at night! If your dog has been poisoned, you may not be the target, but just along the target route. If the criminal has not been successful on the night, our stats show that he will be back within two weeks. Normally to replace a dog takes longer than that. So be on high alert! Should you find your dog has been poisoned, and is still alive...

Success! 8 Dec 2015

SUCCESS: IR 27004 On 08 December 2015 @ 02H50 in the Cradle of Humankind: Intruder(s) attempted to gain access / Break In at a house on a Conserv Client’s property in Zwartkrans. The residents in the house became aware of the Intruder(s’) presence, saw them and scared the Intruder(s) off. The call went out on Conserv Security’s Radio Communication Channel. Both Conserv Staff and Community responded. Shortly afterward Conserv Staff arrested one of the Intruders on the property. The SAPS were called to the scene for the purposes of charging the suspect. On their arrival the Intruder was interrogated, and it was established by the SAPS that the Suspect was a minor (He is reportedly 15 years of age but no ID was produced) – Thus, the SAPS Members said that may not transport him in a SAPS Vehicle according to Legislation that was applicable to minors ??). However, this did not deter Conserv Staff and our Client to transport the Suspect to the Krugersdorp SAPS Station in their private vehicle, and a Case was opened against the Suspect at the station. The suspect (minor) was apparently looking for a job, at 03h00 in the morning. COCKEYED – So for the moment, as long as Parliament does not rectify Act 32 of 2007, children between the same ages of 12 and 16 may have consensual sex with each other without...

Subsequently, the 2 Black Males were arrested for Illegal Hunting and appeared in court the same day. The dogs were taken in by the SPCA.
